Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Education worker to join our team at Little People's Workshop Ltd. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to grow and develop.

Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A College/CEGEP diploma is required, and experience in early childhood education is an asset.
  • Work Setting: This position is based in a day care centre or nursery school setting.
  • Supervision: You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people.
  • Certifications and Licenses: A valid Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and CPR Certificate are required.
  • Security and Safety: A criminal record check, immunization records, and a vulnerable sector check are mandatory.
  • Transportation and Travel: You must have your own transportation.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: This role involves repetitive tasks, a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: You must be punctual, dependable, have excellent oral communication skills, be flexible, and possess good judgement and reliability.
