Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our manufacturing facilities, you will play a vital role in leading our team members to deliver exceptional results and meet our high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve daily and weekly production targets
- Participate in audits and quality control initiatives to ensure compliance with company standards
- Resolve employee issues through counseling sessions, investigations, and grievance meetings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FSQA, Reliability, and Human Resources
- Foster a positive employee relations culture by treating all employees with respect and dignity
- Facilitate safety talks and task observations to promote a culture of safety
- Perform administrative duties, including payroll, scheduling, and shift reports
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field
- Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
