Job Summary:

The University of Ottawa is seeking a part-time regular professor of audiology to teach and conduct research in the field of hearing treatment and aging-related hearing problems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and develop courses related to hearing treatment and aging-related hearing problems
• Conduct research in the field of audiology and hearing treatment
• Develop and implement assessment and rehabilitation approaches for hearing treatment and aging-related hearing problems
• Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers to advance the field of audiology

Requirements:

• Doctoral degree in audiology or a related field
• Expertise and experience in the field of hearing treatment and aging-related hearing problems
• Experience in teaching and research at the university level
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

• Part-time regular position with a regular schedule
• Work hours: 39 hours per week
• Course schedule: Tuesday and Thursday, 8:30am-11:20am, September 5 to October 22, with a final exam on November 1
