Join Criteo's Engineering Team as a Senior Software Engineer Lead

Criteo is a global commerce media company that enables marketers and media owners to deliver richer consumer experiences and drive better commerce outcomes through its industry-leading Commerce Media Platform.

We're seeking a seasoned Senior Software Engineer Lead to lead our engineering team in building robust distributed data processing systems that enable data insights and visualization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing data models, writing high-quality code, participating in architecture decisions, and influencing the roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data models that help other engineering teams leverage tremendous volumes of advertising and organic event data.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable code as a leading member of the team.
  • Participate in architecture decisions, influence the roadmap, and take ownership and responsibility over new projects.
  • Work closely with product managers, project managers, and other leads to drive project success.
  • 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong background in managing software development teams.
  • Experience in managing a software development team, providing regular feedback, mentorship, or coaching to software engineers.
  • A rock-solid foundation in Computer Science, with expertise in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • A passion for shipping quality high-performance code, with a focus on problem-solving, fixing, and creative technology.
  • Experience with Big Data and technologies such as Hadoop, Map/Reduce, Spark, and Hive.
  • A demonstrated track record of taking the initiative and acting as a technical lead.
  • MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Practical experience with Java and Scala.
  • Familiarity with analytic databases such as Vertica.
  • Data visualization design and development.
