About this Opportunity

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the integration of our Cloud RAN – Virtualized Distributed Unit Product and drive related innovation in SW development practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the definition and evolution of the Cloud RAN vDU Software Integration Anatomy
  • Guide Cloud RAN vDU software functionality and interfaces definition aiming to yield optimum Integration efficiency for Ericsson's Cloud RAN product deployed with various CaaS providers
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of Software Integration techniques, especially functionalities that impact or are impacted by the architecture of the software
  • Drive the implementation of necessary test environments to validate and characterize the Cloud RAN Radio vDU software during the Integration phase, e.g resilience to component restarts and inter-component I/F impediments
Requirements
  • 10 years of work experience in Wireless integration test and/or Cloud Native product integration test
  • 5 years of work experience as a Senior Integrator, Technical Coordinator or Technical Project Leader (related to LTE/NR)
What You Will Bring
  • Strong background in 4G/5G End to End systematization and integration (Packet Core, VPP, VRC, DU, AAS RU)
  • Excellent analytic and troubleshooting skills for problems that span multiple domains (applications, network, hardware)
  • In depth knowledge of Linux OS: (RedHat, Ubuntu, Wind River) Strong experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware, OpenStack)
  • Understanding of cloud native core design and test principles and developing through the cloud native development pipeline principles and tools
  • Kubernetes and Docker knowledge, RedHat Open Shift, WR (detailed) (installation, config admin, deployment, troubleshooting) an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience in leading diverse teams
