Concrete Finisher

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at NEXTDOOR CONTRACTORS INC. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finish on our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Fills hollows and removes spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
- Operates power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
- Imparts desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
- Installs anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
- Waterproofs, damp proofs, and restores surfaces.
- Repairs, resurfaces, and replaces worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
- Reads and interprets blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience an asset.
- Physically demanding work environment.
- Handling heavy loads.
- Bending, crouching, kneeling.
- Attention to detail.
- Accurate, client-focused, flexible, and dependable individual.
