This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of individuals facing complex challenges, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver compassionate and evidence-based care to adults diagnosed with severe mental illness, addressing their unique needs and circumstances.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse range of healthcare professionals, educators, and community resources to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific requirements.
  • Provide case coordination services, connecting clients with appropriate support systems and navigating the complexities of mental health services.
  • Utilize your counseling skills to empower individuals, promote recovery, and enhance their overall well-being.

Your Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a Health Science discipline from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of three years of recent experience working with adults experiencing severe and persistent mental illness.
  • Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation for local area travel (mileage reimbursement provided).

Essential Skills and Attributes:

  • Deep understanding of recovery principles in the context of mental illness.
  • Proficiency in psychiatric theory and practice, with a client-centered approach focused on adults.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of crisis intervention strategies and community resources available to support individuals facing mental health challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling clear and concise documentation and interaction with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, effectively managing workload and adapting to changing priorities.
