Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist internal clients in developing and implementing effective communication strategies that align with the organization's specific business goals.
  • Establish strong relationships with stakeholders and propose impactful communication strategies to promote and execute key initiatives using targeted tactics and engaging content.
  • Prepare press materials, including key messages, press releases, and Q&A documents.
  • Generate content for various internal and external communication platforms, including speaking notes, videos, and major corporate events throughout the year.
  • Safeguard and enhance the reputation of RONA and its brands.
  • Contribute to the creation of business competition submissions.
  • Coordinate communication initiatives with external service providers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in corporate communications.
  • Outstanding writing and editing capabilities.
  • Ability to provide strategic advice to internal clients and management.
  • Strong ethical standards and sound judgment.
  • Capability to understand client needs and develop solutions accordingly.
  • Ability to distill key messages and simplify information for target audiences.
  • Proven skills in prioritizing tasks.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and high standards of rigor.
  • Ability to identify potential issues and risks, providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork abilities.
