We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to oversee the operations of our Canada facilities, including Toronto and Ottawa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Sales Executives, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth in various service areas.
Key Responsibilities- Operational management of the Canadian region and labs, ensuring compliance with TÜV SÜD policies and ISO17025 guidelines.
- Manage direct sales teams to target and projection, creating detailed business plans to facilitate goal attainment.
- Develop and implement annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring spending and providing adjustments as required.
- Collaborate with other Regional Managers to ensure sites are staffed and equipped to meet business needs and forecasted growth plans.
- Streamline processes and workflow, supporting customer meetings, inquiries, and testing to drive business development.
- Oversee technical leads to ensure operational performance and timing of projects meet customer performance targets and company financial goals.
- Support the hiring, training, growth, and development of technicians and engineers.
- Develop lab and equipment strategy and best practices to support efficient and cost-effective lab operations.
- Provide professional aftersales support to enhance customer dedication and satisfaction.
- Assist in negotiating agreements with current and prospective clients, ensuring site operations maintain compliance with environment, health, and safety requirements.
- Well-versed in technical/engineering details related to modern technology and TIC business.
- Demonstrated ability to manage lab operations to drive revenue and satisfy customer deliverables.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with ability to multitask and handle deadlines.
- Articulate, professional, courteous, and effective manner with internal and external customers.
- Customer service-oriented, with a self-starter attitude and positive outlook.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education preferred, with minimum 35 years of experience in product safety compliance services.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory/leadership experience, including development of individuals and teams.
- Minimum 5 years operational experience in a lab environment with financial/cost responsibilities.
- Knowledge of market research, sales, and negotiating principles, with excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
- Organizational and time management skills, with enthusiasm and passion for the role.
