We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Dunphy's Poultry Farm Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and minimal delays.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Logistics: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment and GPS navigation systems to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Air Brakes Endorsement, valid driver's license, and any other required certifications.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and varying weather conditions.
