Overview of the Role

As a Mobile Warehouse Associate at Coca-Cola Canada, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products are consistently available to consumers in local grocery stores. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in maintaining fully stocked beverage sections, end caps, racks, and displays.

You will be tasked with transporting products from the backroom or storage area to the front of the store using manual or powered equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.

In addition, you will manage the backroom by organizing stock, monitoring inventory levels, processing damaged products, and completing necessary paperwork.

As the face of our brand, you will provide exceptional service to both clients and consumers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure products are maintained and replenished on store racks, shelves, displays, and coolers by efficiently transporting items from the backroom to the sales floor.
  • Construct, modify, or dismantle product displays while adhering to company standards, maintaining product signage, and ensuring cleanliness in product areas.
  • Lift, carry, and position products weighing up to 50 lbs (22 kg) above shoulder height without assistance.
  • Perform consistent kneeling, squatting, and reaching above head as part of daily tasks.
  • Organize backroom stock, monitor inventory levels, and manage paperwork related to product handling.
  • Comply with all company policies regarding safety, equipment use, and display maintenance.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in line with company safety and sanitation standards.
  • Foster professional relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Operate manual and powered equipment safely and effectively, moving product loads for significant distances.
  • Exhibit fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination in handling various products.
  • Remain on your feet and mobile for extended periods.

Qualifications

  • At least one year of experience in grocery, retail, warehousing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with manual or powered pallet jacks is advantageous.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision is preferred.
  • A personal vehicle is required for use during work hours.
  • Current vehicle liability insurance is necessary.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
