Product Development CAD Technologist

ProSlide Technology is seeking a highly skilled Product Development CAD Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Product Development team, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, schematics, and assembly details for our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize industry-standard CAD software to create 3D models and technical drawings
  • Maintain and rework existing parts, assemblies, and drawings to conform to current practices
  • Model play structures in SolidWorks and prepare BOMs for ordering and assembly manuals
  • Support Product Designers and Engineers with product development processes and creative shape/light effects
  • Draft Change Notices to facilitate the release of new or updated technical documentation
  • Perform rigorous checks and verifications on technical drawings and documentation
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy of technical documentation creation
Requirements:
  • Advanced Diploma in Engineering Technology or foreign equivalent
  • 1-2 years of previous experience as a CAD/mechanical designer role, preferably in product development or amusement park ride design
  • Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) with ability to create complex 3D models and accurate technical drawings
  • Prior experience conducting Change Notices and operating in a Product Data Management (PDM) environment
