Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Vice President of Projects, the Mechanical Project Supervisor is tasked with overseeing projects from their initial stages through to completion. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to accurately assess customer requirements, devise leading-edge solutions, procure necessary materials, and manage on-site personnel to guarantee the successful execution of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with department heads, executives, and the sales team to ensure timely project delivery;
- Maintain and update project performance forecasts;
- Evaluate and report on project financials;
- Build and sustain relationships with suppliers, consultants, contractors, and end users;
- Oversee project financial outcomes;
- Track project timelines, budgets, and progress reports;
- Manage vendor relationships and secure necessary materials and equipment;
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and project safety plans.
- Consultation and Communication:
- Engage directly with clients to understand their needs;
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners;
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to set and manage project expectations;
- Assist clients in identifying innovative solutions to enhance their operations;
- Continuously seek new technologies and solutions to enhance our clients' competitive edge;
- Coordinate with supply chain, sales, marketing, engineering, subcontractors, and finance teams;
- Act as a leader within the company, promoting best practices and safety protocols.
- Training and Development:
- Participate in the recruitment of new team members;
- Assist in training both new and existing staff;
- Engage in company-sponsored training relevant to the role.

- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing industrial projects with a value of at least $5 million;
- A mechanical background, with relevant trade qualifications being an asset;
