Position Overview

As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist at Gastronomy Gastown, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our culinary environment. Your responsibilities will include the efficient operation of dishwashing equipment and ensuring that all kitchenware is sanitized and stored properly.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize dishwashing machines to clean dishes, glassware, and utensils
  • Organize and store cleaned dishes in designated areas
  • Manually wash and sanitize dishes and kitchen items as needed
  • Thoroughly clean pots and pans
Work Environment

This position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen setting, where you will be expected to handle heavy loads and perform repetitive tasks. Candidates should be prepared to stand for extended periods.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
