Primary Care Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary Care Paramedic to join our team at the City of Thunder Bay. As a Primary Care Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical care and transportation to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Assess patient conditions and provide treatment as needed.
- Transport patients to medical facilities in a safe and timely manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Must meet the qualifications for primary care paramedic as stipulated in the regulations of the Ambulance Act, as amended.
- Must meet minimum standards and complete mandatory training specified by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care, Emergency Health Services Branch, and the City of Thunder Bay.
- One to two years' experience as a primary care paramedic.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Valid Ontario Class "F" driver's licence or equivalent.
