Job Title: Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Manager to join our team at Roadtrek Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our logistics department, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning
  • Evaluate daily operations and identify areas for improvement
  • Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including coordinating with suppliers and transportation providers
  • Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines
  • Direct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Hire, supervise, and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting on stock levels
  • Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work
  • Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget
  • Supervise technical and support staff, including providing guidance and support as needed
  • Prepare production reports and provide regular updates to management
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers, including negotiating contracts and resolving issues
  • Develop and implement business plans, including identifying opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Direct and advise professional and non-professional staff, including providing guidance and support as needed
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, including identifying areas for improvement
  • Plan and organize operational logistics of the organization, including coordinating with suppliers and transportation providers
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of inventory management and control systems
  • Experience with production scheduling and duty assignments
  • Ability to develop and implement business plans
  • Experience with quality control inspections and compliance with industry standards
  • Ability to supervise and train employees
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance and repair
  • Ability to plan and manage budgets
  • Experience with transportation and logistics coordination
