Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operations Technician to join our team at Capstone Logistics. This role involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the efficient handling of goods within our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Previous experience is considered an asset
Work Environment
  • Exposure to confined spaces
  • Working in dusty, hot, cold/refrigerated, noisy, and wet/damp conditions
Warehouse Duties
  • Constructing pallets for storage and transport
  • Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials manually or using basic material handling equipment
  • Operating various equipment to facilitate the movement of materials
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Wrapping, packing, and unpacking goods
  • Sorting, crating, and stacking items efficiently
  • Securing and installing goods for safe transport
  • Storing cargo and materials appropriately
  • Transporting and distributing materials and goods within the facility
  • Organizing and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Operating electric pallet jacks as required
Certifications Required
  • Counterbalanced forklift training
  • Narrow aisle forklift training
  • Forklift Operator Certification
Industry Experience
  • Familiarity with industrial supplies
  • Experience in quality assurance or control
  • Background in food and beverage industries
  • Specialization in shipping and receiving operations
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check
  • Driving record check (abstract)
  • Drug testing as part of the hiring process
Transportation Requirements
  • Possession of a valid driver's license
Physical Demands
