Position Overview

The Newmarket Keg Steakhouse & Bar is seeking a dedicated Head Chef to lead our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Design and implement innovative menus that meet quality standards and customer preferences.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including sous-chefs and cooks, to maintain high culinary standards.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Recipe Development: Create and refine recipes to enhance our menu offerings.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a culinary program or equivalent experience.
