Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver to join our team in Drayton Valley, AB. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, prioritizing vehicle maintenance, and providing support to students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety First: Ensure the safe transportation of students to and from school, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in good working condition.
  • Student Support: Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, providing a positive and supportive environment.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and school staff to ensure a smooth and efficient transportation experience.

Requirements

  • Age and Experience: Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license for at least 1 year.
  • Medical and Background Checks: Undergo and pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and background checks.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and school staff.
