Controller

Meridia Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting process, ensuring compliance, and maintaining the integrity of financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Develop and maintain the integrity of the financial reporting process and financial controls.
  • Resolve accounting issues and ensure compliance with new accounting pronouncements.
  • Coordinate annual year-end audits and ensure effective communication with auditors.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a progressive environment, with at least three of those in a leadership position.
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Finance, or a related field, along with a CPA designation.
  • A strategic mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative spirit.
  • Proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, providing constructive feedback, and proactively managing performance.
