We are currently seeking Alberta Licensed Advanced Care Paramedics to join our dynamic team on a casual basis from our Leduc office. This role presents an exciting opportunity to enhance your career within Bravo Target Safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish or update STARS site numbers and complete the necessary BTS documentation.
  • Conduct and maintain accurate headcounts unless otherwise directed.
  • Provide medical standby services and respond to emergencies in accordance with your training and provincial regulations.
  • Review and offer insights on emergency response plans tailored to specific sites and scopes.
  • Perform site safety inspections and pre-job assessments prior to conducting hazard evaluations.
  • Engage in all Safety Meetings and review Safety Data Sheets for hazardous materials.
  • Document incidents and assist in investigations as required.
  • Participate in emergency drills as mandated by Bravo Target Safety and/or the client.
  • Maintain emergency response equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and relevant standards, including regular maintenance, cleaning, inventory management, and testing.
  • Exhibit a professional demeanor and a strong commitment to all personnel on site.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Active registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics is required.
  • Two years of experience as an Emergency Medical Responder is advantageous.
  • Possession of a clean Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Certification in Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level A or C (or equivalent).
  • Completion of Common Safety Orientation (CSO).
  • Certification in H2S Alive.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, written, and communication skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Willingness to work away from home for extended periods, including long hours and both day and night shifts.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol testing.
