Job Title: Operations Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team at TUNG AIR TRANSPORT LTD. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail business, ensuring smooth execution of tasks, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement operational plans to prioritize tasks and optimize workflow.
  • Organize and assign tasks to team members, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including inventory management and supply chain coordination.
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery, and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Recruit, hire, and train staff to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to support their growth and development.
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support business operations.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Physical ability to handle heavy loads, up to 9 kg (20 lbs), and work in a variety of environments.
  • Reliability, initiative, and a strong work ethic.
