About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Family Dentistry on Brock. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform dental cleanings and oral examinations to ensure optimal patient care
  • Take dental x-rays to diagnose and treat oral health issues
  • Administer fluoride treatments to prevent tooth decay
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques to promote healthy teeth and gums
  • Maintain accurate patient records to ensure seamless care
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of disease
Requirements
  • New graduates welcome to apply
  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in Ontario required
  • Proficiency in Abeldent software preferred
  • Knowledge of orthodontics and implants terminology beneficial
  • Previous experience in dental assisting an asset
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and recordkeeping skills essential
