Job Title: Theatre Attendant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Theatre Attendant to join our team at Canadian Forces Morale and Welfare Services - CFMWS. As a key member of our recreation team, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience for our customers.

About the Role:

Under the supervision of the Community Recreation Supervisor, you will be responsible for opening the theatre, preparing the facility for customers, and operating video players and popcorn machines. You will also be responsible for monitoring patrons to ensure entitlement to theatre privileges and/or access to restricted movies, patrolling the theatre, and advising customers on acceptable behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Open the theatre and prepare the facility for customers
  • Operate video players and popcorn machines
  • Monitor patrons to ensure entitlement to theatre privileges and/or access to restricted movies
  • Patrol the theatre and advise customers on acceptable behaviour
  • Keep count of patrons and provide yearly statistics to supervisor
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (Ontario)
  • Must possess a Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (Ontario)
  • Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork, and leadership competencies
  • English Essential, Bilingual (English and French) an asset
