God's Glory African and West Indian Market is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team.
Job SummaryThe Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all sales and customer service goals are met. This includes managing sales staff, maintaining inventory levels, and resolving customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Sales Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales workers, ensuring that they are meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately counted and stored.
- Resolve Customer Complaints: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, interacting with customers and sales staff on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
