Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and creative makeup artist to join our team as an On-Call Artist. As a key member of our in-store team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and delivering a personalized shopping experience that exceeds our customers' expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide inspirational and authentic customer service, educating and delighting customers on our products and services.
- Work collaboratively with the in-store team to create a welcoming and inspirational store environment that showcases our products and services.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, including their features, benefits, and applications.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest makeup trends and techniques, and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
- Participate in visual merchandising efforts to ensure the store is visually appealing and effectively communicates our brand message.
- Work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and special events, in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software is an asset.
Requirements:
- Qualification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise in makeup artistry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software is an asset.
