We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Skate Attendant I.

About the Role:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service experiences by providing safety patrols on the ice and building, administering first aid when necessary, and supporting special events and games.
  • Work in the skate shop providing rental and skate sharpening services to the public, including rental skate maintenance and supporting skating lessons.
  • Be an integral part of our dedicated staff team who continually strive to make a difference in the recreation and cultural lives of North Vancouver residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service experiences by being courteous, responsive, and knowledgeable about our programs and services.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a fun and safe environment for all customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Standard First Aid certification.
  • Good skating ability.
  • Coaching or refereeing experience and skate sharpening experience are preferred.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $22.43 to $23.41 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of benefits.
