Your Responsibilities
  • Lead multiple building structure projects as a dedicated project manager.
  • Serve as a technical expert in your field, tackling complex engineering challenges with expertise.
  • Ensure the accuracy of master plans and other engineering deliverables for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate resources and professionals effectively, collaborating with internal disciplines to ensure timely delivery and production aligned with priorities.
  • Engage with clients, understand their needs, prepare proposals and letters of intent, establish budgets, and set project schedules.
  • Monitor client progress, consider their feedback and requests throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Work closely with clients to address any project-related questions or concerns promptly.
  • Conduct contractual follow-ups and monitor contract financial progress diligently.
  • Collaborate on budget tracking with involved resources as a project manager for assigned projects.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement methods, procedures, and tools to enhance service quality, optimize practices, and boost productivity.
  • Contribute to departmental development by actively participating in technical and administrative standardization processes.
Profile We Seek
  • Master's degree in structures or equivalent; a management diploma is an asset.
  • Registered member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec.
  • Minimum fifteen (15) years of structural design experience and at least ten (10) years in management roles.
  • Proven track record working on large-scale projects within both public and private sectors.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.
  • In-depth understanding of building construction codes and standards applicable to building structures.
  • Proficiency in structural design software (CSI Etabs, SAP2000, SAFE, ADA, or equivalent).
