Job Title: Construction Labourer and Helper

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Construction Labourer and Helper to join our team at Dirty Devil Hydrovac Services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will assist in various construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, erecting and dismantling scaffolding, and mixing and pouring concrete. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift heavy loads.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and other construction equipment
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
  • Level earth to fine grade specifications
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
  • Direct traffic at or near construction sites
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a construction environment
  • Ability to lift heavy loads
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Valid driver's license
