Job Opportunity for Occupational Therapists
We are seeking skilled Occupational Therapists to join our team at pt Health, a leading provider of home and community care services. As an Occupational Therapist with our team, you will have the opportunity to work with clients in their own homes, providing assessments and interventions to support their independence and well-being.
About the Role
This is a casual part-time opportunity, with referrals coming from a variety of sources. You will have the flexibility to schedule assessments at your convenience, and will be paid a premium rate for your services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent living services assessments in clients' homes
- Provide personal care, home safety, and home accessibility assessments
- Perform mobility assessments, including A and B assessments
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized plans to support their independence
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists, with a minimum of 3 years of work experience. You will also need to be an Assistive Devices Authorizer (ADP Authorizer) to perform mobility assessments.
