Commercial Litigation Specialist

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and support to our business units, ensuring that our operations are conducted in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Litigation: Collaborate with internal clients to resolve complex commercial disputes, including contract disputes, intellectual property disputes, and other business-related matters.
- Litigation Management: Manage and coordinate the litigation process, including drafting and filing court documents, conducting research, and preparing for trials and hearings.
- Contract Review and Negotiation: Review and negotiate contracts with external parties, ensuring that they are fair, reasonable, and compliant with company policies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company, including regulatory risks, reputational risks, and financial risks.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that our business units are operating in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Education: A law degree from a recognized university, with a strong background in commercial law.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of success in managing complex cases.
- Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Language: Fluency in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
