Key Responsibilities:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiovascular Technologists (CSCT) or eligibility for registration.
  • Ability to perform all cardiac testing, including stress testing, ECGs, Holter scanning, Holter monitoring application, and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring, in accordance with CSCT guidelines and standards, medical directives, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality.
  • Certificate in contrast injection and IV insertion or eligibility.
  • Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, and to participate in standby and multi-site coverage when required.
  • Recent satisfactory performance and attendance record.

  • Advocacy and support for a culture of patient safety and demonstration of an understanding of how the department's services and assigned responsibilities contribute to overall patient safety at Brightshores through patient safety knowledge, skills, and attitudes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Device follow-up and implantation, including pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, implantable cardiac loops, and external cardiac loops.
  • Registration in echocardiography.
