About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Training Requirement Expert to join our team at CAE Inc. As a key member of our Systems Engineering team, you will play a critical role in defining and ensuring the quality of our training solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and review project and customer requirements for Defense and Security training devices and systems.
  • Work with technical experts and management teams to ensure that all requirements are clear, complete, verifiable, and achievable.
  • Validate that technical requirements deliver value-added training and meet customers' training objectives.
  • Coordinate and conduct System Requirements Review activities, including allocation of requirements to engineering specialties and documentation of issues resolution.
  • Ensure that requirements-driven risks are well understood and integrated into project planning, monitoring, and controlling activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous process improvement of the CAE requirements management and development process.
  • Supervise the Requirement Technician tasks related to data input and management of project requirements documentation in DOORS Database.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or master's degree in Engineering, Computer, or Information Sciences.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in aerospace or simulation and training systems design and development.
  • Knowledge of systems analysis and design aspects, particularly of requirements engineering methods and tools.
  • Excellent French and English, spoken & written.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Good analytical, planning, organizational and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of various aeronautics and simulator systems, an asset.
  • Experience as a Project Expert (PE) or Verification & Validation (V&V) specialist, an asset.
  • Knowledge of requirements analysis by user cases, an asset.
  • Experience with computerized requirements management tool such as Telelogic DOORS or DOORS NG, an asset.
  • Programming experience (C, C++, Java, VBA, DXL, etc.), an asset.
  • Must meet the eligibility requirements for access to Controlled Goods.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a security clearance with access to NATO secret documents and adhere to ITAR requirements.
