We are seeking a skilled Jeweller to join our team at 1000043293 ONTARIO INC. as a permanent employee.
Job Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and fabricating parts for watches and clocks, instructing apprentices, and performing repairs and adjustments on timepieces. They will also supervise other Jewellers or Watch Repairers, test and regulate timepiece movements, and appraise gemstones and diamonds.
The ideal candidate will have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience and a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. They will be required to have 20/20 vision, ability to distinguish between colours, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, and manual dexterity.
The work conditions and physical capabilities of this role include sitting for extended periods, working with precision instruments, and being able to lift and move equipment as needed.
We are looking for a team player with excellent oral communication skills, judgement, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to work 37.5 hours per week and have a strong understanding of English.
