Position Overview

The Shellbrook Motel is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout our facilities. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a pristine appearance.
  • Furniture Maintenance: Dust and clean all furniture to maintain a tidy atmosphere.
  • Textile Management: Launder clothing and household linens, ensuring all items are fresh and clean.
  • Room Preparation: Make beds, change sheets, and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Guest Assistance: Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies and provide basic information about the facilities.
  • Waste Management: Pick up debris and empty trash containers regularly.
  • Sanitation Duties: Clean and disinfect various areas, including operating rooms and elevators.
  • Inventory Control: Stock linen closets and handle lost and found items appropriately.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work independently in a non-smoking and rural setting. The role involves physical tasks that may include handling heavy loads and performing repetitive duties.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary education.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
