About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Hillside Shop & Save. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating our cash registers, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a cash register and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Assist customers with purchases, respond to inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Restock shelves, maintain store displays, and ensure a clean and safe shopping environment
  • Verify customer ages for age-restricted products and maintain knowledge of store policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent not required, but an asset
  • 1-6 months of retail experience an asset
  • Availability to work 16-20 hours per week
  • Smart Serve certification an asset
