Role Responsibilities

If you possess a genuine passion for assisting others and excel in communication and interpersonal skills, this role may be ideal for you. As a Sales and Customer Service Advisor, you will serve as a trusted consultant, guiding clients in safeguarding their most valued possessions.

Key Duties Include:

  • Providing expert advice to ensure clients make informed decisions regarding their insurance needs.
  • Assessing customer requirements, promoting relevant products and services, and suggesting innovative solutions.
  • Assisting clients with auto and home insurance inquiries.
  • Collaborating with the brokerage network to support new initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one year of experience in a similar capacity.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to listen and empathize.
  • A customer-focused mindset with a desire to enhance advisory skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Proficient computer skills, capable of navigating various systems simultaneously.
  • Bilingualism is essential (English-French) to cater to our diverse clientele.
  • Willingness to complete the necessary provincial examination to obtain an insurance license.
  • No prior Canadian work experience is required, but eligibility to work in Canada is necessary.
  • This role involves inbound call center responsibilities, requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.

Training Requirements

In Quebec, agents must pass their AMF certification to practice. To qualify for our training program, candidates must meet one of the following educational criteria:

  • A College Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree; OR
  • An Attestation of Collegial Studies in Damage Insurance; OR
  • A Secondary Diploma with three years of full-time experience in the Canadian job market.
