Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Stone Carver to join our team at Artistic Stone Carving Ltd. As a Stone Carver, you will be responsible for producing carvings from wood, stone, and other materials, operating machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products, and loading, moving, sorting, and piling materials and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce carvings from wood, stone, and other materials
  • Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of stone blocks, slabs, or other stone products
  • Load, move, sort, and pile materials and supplies
  • Move products using forklift, crane, or hydraulic hoist
Work Environment

Our work site environment is dusty and noisy. You will be working in a stone processing plant and foundry, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Hand-eye co-ordination
