ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to contribute to our dynamic team. We welcome motivated individuals with a solid technical foundation in semiconductor product qualification to consider this opportunity.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will report directly to the Operations Manager and is expected to fulfill a total of 40 hours per week on-site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and validate qualification testing plans for semiconductor MEMS products;
  • Prepare reliability and qualification documentation for both internal and external stakeholders;
  • Address product qualification challenges in collaboration with internal technical teams;
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) and perform qualification failure analyses;
  • Work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot failures and determine root causes;
  • Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 standards and lead audit processes;
  • Establish effective internal practices compliant with ISO 9001;
  • Oversee document control and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS);
  • Conduct audits for internal processes and external suppliers;
  • Issue formal procedures and reports to meet customer requirements;
  • Prioritize the resolution of quality-related issues;
  • Communicate quality expectations to staff, including implementation methods and potential consequences;
  • Engage professionally with customers;
  • Develop and finalize 8D reports;
  • Compile vendor documentation such as PPAP, FMEA, Gauge R&R, and control plans for product commercialization;
  • Implement a Cost of Quality system;
  • Manage supplier quality assessments;
  • Oversee failure analysis and Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) processes.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Semiconductor Industry;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical personnel;
  • Capability to work across various global time zones;
  • Experience in semiconductor reliability testing and familiarity with industry standards (e.g., AEC, JEDEC, ISO, RoHS);
  • Proven track record in developing qualification plans for semiconductor products;
  • Experience with semiconductor failure analysis techniques;
  • Proficient in conducting audits of internal practices and suppliers;
  • Understanding of the implications and costs associated with product failures;
  • Familiarity with statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP);
  • Knowledge of quality management tools (e.g., 8D, fishbone diagram, 5 Whys, PPAP, PFMEA).
