Job Summary

The Production Technician role supports the manufacturing of products according to customer and company requirements. This position involves working within a team environment to ensure compliance and meet departmental productivity goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dismantle, clean, and assemble manufacturing equipment to ensure compliance and meet departmental changeover targets.
  • Process batches within specifications to meet departmental batch execution targets.
  • Complete all documentation, including observations, test results, and batch record information.
  • Safely operate all required equipment and machinery.
  • Conduct in-process testing required in the manufacturing of product.
  • Notify the Coordinator in the event of a departure from procedure, product defect, safety incident, or other serious problem.

Requirements

  • Minimum secondary school diploma or recognized equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 20 kgs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment and Respiratory Protection responsibly.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Results and customer service oriented, pursues work with energy and drive.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-Managed team player with a positive attitude exhibiting cooperation, communication, flexibility, and initiative to acquire functional skills.
  • Previous manufacturing experience within the Food or Pharmaceutical Industry is an asset.
