Job Title: Renovation Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Renovation Carpenter to join our team at MV Castillo Painting Corporation. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for renovating and maintaining residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare layouts and designs for renovation projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Instruct apprentices and supervise other workers to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
  • Relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Free parking available.
