Job Opportunity: Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to join our team at Fed ManuTech Canada. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical parts and systems for our clients in the engineering and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop 2D and 3D models of mechanical parts and systems using CAD software such as SolidWorks and Inventor.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and suppliers, to ensure timely and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve design processes and reduce costs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and specifications for mechanical parts and systems.
Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the engineering and manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software, including SolidWorks and Inventor.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
