We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Wheaton's. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, to meet the needs of our customers.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food.
- Supervision: Assist in supervising junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Certifications: Possess a Safe Food Handling certificate, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
As a Line Cook at Wheaton's, you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant or café environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
