Service Technician for Thermal Equipment

For those with limited experience in service, Carmichael Engineering will provide the necessary training and support to develop your skills in service. Additionally, we can also assist you in obtaining your TAG1 certification (class 1 gas equipment technique certificate).
Requirements:
- Perform seasonal maintenance on a wide range of water and steam heating systems in industrial and institutional sectors.
- Diagnose systems, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
- Test combustion equipment and associated control systems.
- Disassemble defective systems and test components.
- Replace defective parts and reassemble repaired systems.
- Test system functionality and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Estimate, order, and install materials and supplies necessary for equipment maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of repairs and replacements made, as well as causes of malfunctions.
- Perform combustion analysis and adjustments to meet manufacturer requirements.
- Provide personalized follow-up with clients.
Requirements:
- TAG1 certification, as well as a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial and institutional heating and combustion systems.
- Ability to communicate with clients and suppliers.
- Capacity to interpret mechanical plans and electrical diagrams.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
