Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and sweet shop. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage staff and maintain high standards of food quality and service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Work Environment

This role is set within a vibrant restaurant atmosphere, focusing on delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules efficiently
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on their job responsibilities, as well as sanitation and safety protocols
  • Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management
  • Prepare and present reports on operational performance
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of approximately 3-4 individuals.
