Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Big Bite Pita is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
