Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ERP Systems Manager to join our team at March of Dimes Canada. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our financial systems, particularly our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

Key Responsibilities
  • ERP System Management:
    • Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the ERP system.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to configure, customize, and maintain the ERP system to align with our financial and business processes and requirements.
    • Perform system upgrades, patches, and enhancements while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
    • Troubleshoot technical issues and work with technical resources to resolve as necessary.
  • Financial Process Optimization:
    • Analyze existing financial processes and workflows to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices and streamline financial processes within the ERP system.
    • Continuously monitor system performance and efficiency, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Oversee the integrity, accuracy, and security of financial data within the ERP system.
    • Develop and maintain standardized financial reports and dashboards to provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics.
    • Support ad-hoc reporting requests and provide data analysis to assist with decision-making.
  • User Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to finance team members and end-users on the use of the ERP system and related financial software.
    • Develop training materials, user guides, and documentation to facilitate system adoption and proficiency.
    • Serve as a point of contact for user inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical assistance.
  • Compliance and Controls:
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls within the ERP system.
    • Collaborate with internal auditors and external consultants to conduct periodic audits and reviews of financial systems and processes.
    • Implement and maintain segregation of duties (SoD) and access controls to mitigate risks related to financial data and transactions.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, information systems, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CISA) is a plus.
    • Previous experience in financial systems management, with a focus on ERP systems.
    • Previous experience managing Dynamic 365 is required.
    • Strong understanding of financial operations, accounting principles, and business processes.
    • Technical proficiency in ERP system configuration, customization, and administration.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Project management experience, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
