Job Title: Housekeeper

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at AMIT PURI, Shafu Puri. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds, and change sheets.
  • Household Chores: Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris, and empty trash containers, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Additional Tasks: Distribute clean towels and toiletries, and provide general assistance with household tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, private residence.
  • Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (note: this is not a condition of employment).
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Transportation: Travel expenses paid by employer, public transportation available.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, values, and ethics.
  • Other Benefits: Transportation provided by employer, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 35 hours per week.
