About the Role

This exciting opportunity will lead the marketing team for Cloud Optimization at Amazon, a small but mighty team comprised of product marketing, field marketing, and partner marketing specialists. As a key member of the AWS Cloud Optimization team, you will set the strategy, coach and manage the team, and contribute hands-on to some of the more interesting and complex challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coach, develop, and manage three direct reports in product marketing, field marketing, and partner marketing.
  • Establish the overall marketing direction for Cloud Optimization, including goals, strategies, and tactics throughout the entire adoption funnel. Align the team around a coherent set of activities.
  • Partner closely with product teams, business development, and central marketing to drive positive outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Engage with leaders across AWS Sales Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization to create communication channels that can reach every single technical resource in SMGS and all customers that can benefit from our offerings.
Requirements
  • 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables).
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with creating GTM initiatives at scale.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across marketing, product management, analytics, UX, and research.
