Job Title: Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanical Leader

Cementation Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanical Leader to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our heavy duty equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of heavy duty equipment mechanics to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on surface and underground equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues with heavy duty equipment.
  • Collaborate with project superintendents to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed heavy duty equipment mechanic.
  • Valid Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic Journeyman Certificate or other relevant trade certificate.
  • Full Basic Underground Common Core certification.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy duty equipment maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
